These terms and conditions apply to customers located in the UK (“UK Customers”) who access the Slazenger website ("Website"). Please read these terms and conditions carefully before accessing and/or ordering any goods from the Website.
These are the terms and conditions of SDI (Brook UK) Limited (“Sports Direct UK”), which is the company that sells goods to UK Customers on the Website. If you access the Website, and/or place an order for goods, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

How to order
• 1. Select the goods you require on the Website and click ‘Buy Now’;
• 2. Choose the quantity of goods you wish to purchase from Sports Direct UK (the default will be one (1) unit). Please note that a limit is set to ninety nine (99) units per item. To order quantities greater than 99 units per item, please contact customer services who will be able to assist you with your order;
• 3. Review your bag making sure all specifications such as size (see our sizing chart) and colour fit your requirements, then click "Secure Checkout";
• 4. If you are a new user you will need to enter an email address and create a user name and password. You must keep your username and password confidential as they allow access to your account. To continue setting up an account you will need to enter your personal details, billing address (which must correspond with your payment card address) and delivery address;
• 5. Once you have set up an account, you will be directed to the shipping confirmation page where you may enter voucher codes, select the type of delivery, and vary delivery and/or billing addresses.
• 6. You will then proceed to the secure payment page where you may select the payment type and complete your order. Your payment will be collected from you by SportsDirect.com Retail Limited on our behalf (see below). Following submission of your order you will be sent an automated order acknowledgement to the email address provided.
By placing an order through the Website, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
How the contract for the goods is formed between you and Sports Direct UK
After placing your order you will receive an automated acknowledgement. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. All orders are subject to acceptance by Sports Direct UK. You will receive an email confirming that Sports Direct UK has accepted your order when your order has been processed and is ready for delivery by Sports Direct UK (see below).
Once Sports Direct UK accepts your order, a contract to purchase the goods from Sports Direct UK takes effect between you and Sports Direct UK.
The contract to sell goods to you only relates to those goods listed in the confirmation email.
You will not be charged before your order has been processed and is ready for delivery. However, upon receipt of your order Sports Direct UK will create an authorisation. This will show on your bank statement as a reservation of funds which allocates the money to your order but this will not be realised until your order has been picked and processed in SportsDirect.com Retail Limited’s warehouse. In the event of us not being able to fulfil your order we will immediately request that your bank cancels the authorisation. If the authorisation still remains after several days, please contact your bank to request that they act upon our cancellation of the payment.

Prices for goods on the Website appear on the product pages and include all applicable taxes.
Prices and offers may vary and may only be available for limited periods. All prices and offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended at our discretion. The prices on the Website may differ to prices in our retail stores, catalogues or elsewhere.
The Website contains a large number of goods and it is possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the goods listed on the Website may be incorrectly priced. If we discover an error in the price of the goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible. We will give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it.
Sports Direct UK is under no obligation to sell incorrectly priced goods to you at the incorrect price.
Goods being delivered will be at your sole risk from the time of delivery to you.
Some offers carry a maximum quantity per customer, if applicable, this is detailed on the individual offer.
Any goods showing ex display on the image are heavily marked down in price to clear. They may have been a display model in one of our stores and as such may show signs of discolouration, slight marks and evidence of prior fitting. Faults are NOT of a serious or structural nature and are usually minor marks.
Data protection and privacy
The Sports Direct group takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect against unauthorised or unlawful processing of your personal information, including encrypting your information to applicable industry standards.
During your visit to the Website, the Sports Direct Group may gather certain personal information that is necessary to set up your account, for the purposes of billing, delivery of your goods and queries. The Sports Direct Group only keeps your information for as long as is necessary to process your order, process any applicable refunds, respond to any complaints/feedback or to provide you with promotional information you have subscribed to.
Ordinarily the Sports Direct Group does not have access to your financial information which is securely transferred directly to their card processing agents who process it on the Sports Direct Group’s instructions.
The Sports Direct Group’s card processing agents and their couriers are required to maintain the security and confidentially of your personal details, and are required not to retain, share, store or divulge any personal information for any other purposes.
When you register your details on the Website, you have the option to subscribe to future promotions and special offers. You may unsubscribe from this at any time by emailing customer services.
The Sports Direct Group does not transfer your information outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) unless you are a user located outside the EEA in which case it may need to transfer your information to deliver your goods, process payment/refunds, or to send you promotional information you have subscribed to.
The Website can recognise past users by using cookies. Cookies personalise your visits to the Website to meet your individual preferences. You can disable cookies by adjusting your internet settings.
When you supply your information to the Sports Direct Group you accept the risks associated with the Internet and consent to the Sports Direct Group processing your information in accordance with this policy and will not hold any member of the Sports Direct Group responsible for any loss of your information unless it has breached its duty of care to you.
Method of Payment
You may pay by Mastercard, VISA, VISA Debit, VISA Electron, Maestro and Gift Cards.. Please ensure if you are using a credit card that you provide the card holder's name as it is shown on the card, and the billing address corresponds as it appears on the card statement. Payment will be taken in GB pounds (£), and if applicable, your card will be charged according to the exchange rate at that time.
Sports Direct UK’s charges are collected by SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd on behalf of Sports Direct UK during the checkout procedure and SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd undertakes to pass your payment to Sports Direct UK on your behalf.
Gift Cards can be redeemed by UK customers only online at Slazenger and in branches of SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd (located in the United Kingdom only). Gift Cards may be exchanged for goods of a higher price than the value stored on the card on payment of the difference. If you do not spend the entire balance on the Gift Card the remaining balance will be stored on the Gift Card. No cash change will be given. Gift Cards may not be refunded, exchanged for cash, used as payment with discount vouchers or taken as deposits. Please treat Gift Cards as cash, we will not accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged cards. Gift Cards are valid for 18 months after purchase. Any balance remaining after expiration of the validity period will be cancelled.
Gift Cards cannot be used to buy further Gift Cards.
Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase goods for delivery outside of the UK.
To help us prevent fraud, orders of £200 GB pounds or more may require a landline telephone number. Card fraud is illegal and perpetrators will be prosecuted.
Delivery costs are additional to the displayed price and vary depending on the delivery service you select, the country of delivery and the quantity/weight of goods ordered.
UK delivery charges will be confirmed to you, before your order is accepted.
If your order is particularly heavy it may be subject extra delivery charges. If any order is subject to extra delivery charges you will be advised of the additional cost before delivery of your order begins. You have the option to cancel the order if you do not wish to pay any additional delivery costs.
Please note we are currently unable to deliver to PO Boxes.
UK Delivery options
Sports Direct UK offer four (4) delivery options for orders – Standard Delivery (usually £3.99), Express Delivery (usually £5.99), Next Day Delivery (usually £5.99) and Saturday Delivery (usually £6.99). We also offer FREE UK Standard Delivery for orders over £100. Sports Direct UK also offer FREE UK Standard Delivery for orders over £100. Please see below for further information about UK delivery options.
Some orders may also be eligible to use the Collect In Store or Collect+ delivery service.
Sports Direct UK occasionally run offers on delivery costs where, for example, they will upgrade you to Express Delivery for the same cost as standard delivery. Please see "Express Delivery".
Delivery times depend on the delivery service selected and the types of goods ordered. Sports Direct UK always aim to despatch all goods in stock as quickly as possible. The maximum UK delivery lead time for goods is 30 days unless specifically agreed by Sports Direct UK with you.
Sports Direct UK will use third party couriers. Couriers will require a signature to ensure safe receipt of your goods. If you are not available to collect and sign on the courier’s first visit they may leave it with a neighbour, or in a safe place (i.e. hidden from sight and protected from the rain). A calling card will be posted through your door to let you know this has been done. If there is no safe place a calling card will be left with the courier’s contact number to arrange re-delivery. Sports Direct UK’s couriers will deliver until 9pm in most areas!
The couriers will attempt re-delivery up to a maximum of three (3) times and if delivery is not successful after the third attempt they will return the goods to Sports Direct UK and SportsDirect.com Retail Limited will issue a refund on their behalf. Sports Direct UK reserve the right to re-charge the delivery cost for re-delivery.
If you select the Express Delivery option, and your order is placed and accepted before 7pm Sunday to Thursday, Sports Direct UK aim to have your order delivered to your door within 1 to 2 days provided the next day is not a Saturday, Sunday or Public/Bank Holiday. Orders placed after 7pm will take an extra 24 hours to deliver (excludes Weekends and Public/Bank Holidays).
If your order is over five (5) units, Sports Direct UK will endeavour to ship the whole order as requested, however larger orders may be delivered in separate parcels (see "Split Delivery"). This may result in a delay in the despatch of your order. When despatched, your order will be sent on a Express Delivery service.
Express Delivery is not available for certain areas of the UK including the Highlands and the Channel Islands. For a full list of available postcodes please contact customer services. If the delivery destination is located in an area where Express Delivery is not available, your order will be delivered as soon as possible.
Next Day Delivery
If you select Sports Direct UK’s Next Day Delivery option, and your order is placed and accepted before 7pm Sunday to Thursday, they aim to have your order delivered to your door within 1 to 2 days provided the next day is not a Saturday, Sunday or Public/Bank Holiday. Orders placed after 7pm will take an extra 24 hours to deliver (excludes Weekends and Public/Bank Holidays).
Standard UK Delivery
If you select Sports Direct UK’s standard delivery option, they aim to have all accepted orders placed before 7pm despatched in five (5) working days, excludes Weekends and Public/Bank Holidays.
Saturday UK Delivery
Place your order before 7pm on Friday and receive your order on the Saturday. Orders placed after 7pm on Friday will take an extra 24 hours to deliver (excludes Weekends and Public/Bank Holidays).
You can also get your order delivered to any participating Collect+ stores. Once it has been delivered, you can then collect your order at your convenience. This service is provided to you by Sports Direct UK for only £5.99.
This is a UK Mainland service ONLY. Orders will be delivered to your chosen store within 2 working days and can be collected 7 days a week from any Collect+ point. Parcels can be tracked using the tracking number provided in your Confirmation of dispatch email.
Collect+ stores previously used on orders will be added to your account so that they can be easily selected on future orders. Collect+ is not available on all orders due to restrictions. If the Collect+ option does not show at the checkout stage then this will not be available.
When collecting your order please make sure you have the sufficient paperwork and ID as without this you are unable to collect your goods.
Delivery of Pre-Order Items
If you pre-order goods with a launch date, then your goods will be reserved until the day before the launch date. The pre-ordered goods will be despatched by Sports Direct UK via Express Delivery the day before the launch date if delivery is within the UK.
Sports Direct UK may split delivery of your order into several parts based on stock availability. You will not be charged extra for this facility. Any additional consignments for delivery in the UK will be sent using the Express Delivery service to ensure they are with you as soon as possible. Please see "UK Delivery option: Express Delivery".
Free delivery offers
Free delivery offers, when available, only apply to orders for deliver to the UK Mainland (and not Outer UK Mainland). Free delivery offers are sent using Standard Delivery service, please see "UK Delivery option: Standard Delivery". Free delivery offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or discount code.
Sports Direct UK does not sell goods to customers for delivery outside of the UK. Non-UK European Union customers may purchase goods from SDI (Brook) EU Limited. Overseas customers from outside of the European Union may purchase goods from SDI (Brook) ROW limited. Delivery outside of the UK may be provided to you by Barlin Delivery Limited.
You may cancel your order any time within fourteen (14) working days, beginning on the day after you received the goods. SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd will refund the price of the goods in full on Sports Direct UK’s behalf and will reimburse you for the delivery costs you paid except where multiple items have been ordered and not all of them are being returned. However you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to Sports Direct UK. If a refund is payable to you Sports Direct UK and SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd will process the refund as soon as possible, and, in any case within fourteen (14) days of the day you give written notice of cancellation.
To cancel an order, you must inform Sports Direct UK in writing. You must also return the goods to Sports Direct UK as soon as possible. The goods do not need to be in their original packaging but must be in a sellable condition.
You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, Sports Direct UK may have a right of action against you for compensation. This applies to all goods that are returned.
Sports Direct UK’s returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
If you return goods claiming they are defective, Sports Direct UK will examine the returned goods and will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. Sports Direct UK will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case within thirty (30) days of the day that it confirms via email that you are entitled to a refund for defective goods.
If a refund or reimbursement is payable to you, SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd will transfer the money to you on Sports Direct UK’s behalf using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. If any product purchased with a Gift Card is subsequently exchanged for a product of a lower price, any money owing to you will be issued as a Gift Card. If your purchase was partially paid for on Gift Card and a refund is payable to you, your Gift Card will be refunded up to the card’s original value first and any outstanding balance owed after this will be refunded via the other payment method originally used for your purchase.
Any orders for personalised goods are non-returnable. Some goods are non-returnable for hygiene reasons. Please note that this does not affect your statutory rights.

Warranty and limitation of our liability
If Sports Direct UK fails to comply with these terms and conditions, Sports Direct UK shall only be liable to you for the purchase price of the goods and any proven losses that you suffer as a result of Sports Direct UK’s failure to comply (whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise) which are a foreseeable consequence of such failure.
Sports Direct UK will not be liable for losses that result from its failure to comply with these terms and conditions that fall into the following categories:
• (a) loss of income or revenue;
• (b) loss of business;
• (c) loss of profits;
• (d) loss of anticipated savings;
• (e) loss of data; or
• (f) waste of management or office time.
Nothing in these terms and conditions are intended to exclude or limits Sports Direct UK’s liability for:
• (a) death or personal injury caused by Sports Direct UK’s negligence;
• (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
• (c) any breach of the obligations implied by section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979;
• (d) defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987;
• (e) any other matter for which it would be illegal for Sports Direct UK to exclude or attempt to exclude its liability.
Whilst the Sports Direct Group adopts industry standard protections against computer viruses, it is not able to warrant that this website is free from computer viruses or any other malicious or impairing computer program.
Nothing in these terms and conditions are intended to affect your statutory rights.
Events outside our control
Sports Direct UK will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of any of its obligations to you that is caused by events outside Sports Direct UK’s reasonable control (a ‘Force Majeure Event’). A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond Sports Direct UK’s reasonable control and includes (without limitation) the following:
• (a) Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action;
• (b) Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war;
• (c) Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster;
• (d) Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport;
• (e) Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks; or
• (f) The acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.
In the event of a Force Majeure Event, Sports Direct UK’s performance is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and Sports Direct UK will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. Sports Direct UK will use its reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which its obligations to you may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.
Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications Sports Direct UK sends to you should be in writing. By accessing the Website, you accept that communication with Sports Direct UK will be primarily electronic through e-mail or notices posted on the Website. For contractual purposes, by accessing the Website you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that Sports Direct UK provides to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
Intellectual property rights
Unless otherwise specified the intellectual property rights in the contents of all the pages in this website, are owned or licensed to SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd, or are used with permission from the owner.
The contents of this website may not be copied, reproduced, modified, downloaded or used in any form without our prior written permission.
Sports Direct UK takes all feedback very seriously and aims to deal with complaints as quickly and effectively as possible.
For complaints relating to orders placed through the Website please email customer services To assist SportsDirect.com Retail Ltd in dealing with your complaint, please detail all aspects of the complaint, your order number and your contact details.
Our right to vary these terms and conditions
Sports Direct UK reserves the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time. You will be subject to the terms and conditions that are in force at the time that you order goods from Sports Direct UK unless:-
• any change to these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or governmental authority, in which case the changes may apply to orders previously placed by you; or
• Sports Direct UK notifies you of any changes to these terms and conditions before it accepts your order, in which case Sports Direct UK has the right to assume that you have accepted the change to the terms and conditions unless you notify Sports Direct UK to the contrary within seven (7) working days of receipt by you of the goods.
Physical activities can be hazardous. The selection and use of suitable equipment requires skill, and you should ensure you are appropriately equipped and trained. In the interests of your safety and the safety of others, you should also ensure that you are properly trained in the techniques you will need to employ in pursuit of your chosen activity. Sports Direct UK recommends that you seek and take the advice of a suitably qualified person before purchasing your equipment. Once purchased, the equipment should only be used in accordance with the manufacturers’ instructions and should likewise be inspected before use and properly maintained. Nothing in this notice affects your statutory rights.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.
The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.
Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.
Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.
Goods are marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.
Sports Direct UK is obliged under these regulations to offer its customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when you buy from Sports Direct UK a new Electrical or Electronic product.
For example, if a customer bought a new battery/stopwatch/pedometer from Sports Direct UK, Sports Direct UK would accept their old battery/stopwatch/pedometer and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to Sports Direct UK within 28 days of purchasing their new item.
The Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all claims or disputes arising in relation to, out of or in connection with this website including orders for goods. By accessing this website you agree to submit to English law.
